Coming Back …….Near Death Experiences………..

Let me share with you something interesting about Out of Body Experiences (OBEs.) These Out of Body Experiences are unique & very private experiences.

At the point of death dying man sees whole life like a movie, recollect all experiences, frustrations, sufferings, unfulfilled desires, joy list is  not exhaustive. Consciousness’, soul whatever you call is moving away from the body, separating from the body. The mind is not moving, brain is not moving with the soul or java. All that desires, experiences cling to the soul or jiva determines his future life. That s why it is said moment of your death determines your future birth.

There are many cases reported at the point of near death, clinical death Where in doctors attending the patient pronounced death of the subject with no signs of life, pulse stooped, heart stopped, no respiration after some time many cases within 20 minutes the subject came back to life.  Lot of research has been done to collect the experiences of these persons. Despite of wide variation surrounding the close calls with death, the striking similarities in nutshell are clubbed as under. The Subject….

*Hears doctors attaining them pronounce death… and aware of happening around…..

* Experiences Soul floating out of body, altered state of feeling of wholeness ....peace….without pain...or sufferings…..

* Sees whole life like a movie, recollects all experiences in seconds…..

* Hears the loud buzzing sound…entering darkness...Floating in a dimension of space...Then zooming up a tunnel…towards bright light then enveloped in light

*Seeing long dead relatives at other end of the tunnel…

 * One is in happy, joyful peaceful state. Moves in different dimensions…

 * Suddenly there is earthward pull which becomes powerful and he is reunited with the body….

Due to advancement of medical science cases of resuscitation are increasing. Many scientific explanations are given explaining these phenomena.

The tunnel effect is explained as….large amount of endorphins create dream like situation, brain deprived of oxygen, cells fire fanatically & random in part of the brain that governs vision … there by Light effect is produced.

Life movie is attributed to……our brain runs at the time of extreme traumatic stress.

Ketamine is an anesthetic administered 6 to 10 time smaller dose can produce Tunnel effect, meeting people, seeing future, believing that you have died and the experience the word cannot explain.

Significantly higher levels of oxygen & carbon dioxide levels in blood gases play a role in Mysterious phenomenon.

This is no more a subject of speculation. Each and every one of us at the point of death could see everything that has happened to them, in a flash that too with minutest details. If you are lucky and fortunate you may experience those. Difficulty is that you should come back then and only then you can narrate these and everyone who experience unable to recollect the same.

An elderly lady, diabetic blind suffered with a road accident on expressway. She was unconscious. She was resuscitated. During that she had Out of Body Experience and was floating near the window. She observed the procedures with no pain to her physical body. She narrated NDE to the medical team and about a pen fall out of Doctors pocket; eventually he walked to the window to collect the same. It was not the case of hallucination caused by anoxia, lack of oxygen. This shows that consciousness is independent and separate and can view the things.

Why I discussed these experiences is for a purpose. Human beings are bestowed not only with consciousness but also awareness. This faculty is due to neo cortex.  You can take your consciousness away from the body for a while and observer the body from a distance.

In deep meditation one can experience Out of Body Experiences. In that state you are not a body and nor a mind you are just witness. Phenomenon of Astral travel is also associated with out of Body experiences.

Sixteenth Century Marathi Saint Tukaram has shared his amazing experience in one of his Abhanga  

 'आपुलें मरण पाहिले म्या डोळा, तो जाहला सोहळा अनुपम्य'

Means ‘I have seen my death funeral with my own eyes, it was a great finale And celebration’

This amazing vivid experience was independent of any pathological, neurological or chemical action with neither brain activities nor voyage of mind. But purely Out of body spiritual experience inclusive of regression with progression in time.

Life, things can be with default also!

Generally it is said that everything in life is predetermined, those are the person who believe in destiny. But, vast majority of the people believe that you can shape your destiny. Spiritual mind, new age thinking also Say that man is the master of his destiny and author of his failure.

Man is bestowed with freedom of choice and free will.He can plan and shape his life or destiny. In life planning is important and true also.

Let, me share with you story of Zozo. His father was a cobbler had a very hard life. Earnings were meager but he managed to keep his two sons in a church school. This boy in early youth preferred to roam outside the school instead attending the school; he preferred fighting with his young comrades.

This boy was called Zozo by his mother. His mother was worried about his future. She plan that he should be a priest……….she took to him to Geogean Theological Seminary in Tiflis. The boy was a member of the choir; his voice was exceptionally beautiful, transcendently beautiful. Ones his song as glorious solo from a gallery of the Cathedral, the crowd of worshipper delighted.

Now it was impossible for him to escape his destiny…in most probability he was to continue as a priest.

This boy Zozo was Josef Stalin (1879-1953).His mother wanted him to be a priest. He was most ruthless of the dictator of his era. He expelled his opponents from the party. Stalin had more power, over more people than anyone in the history.

Those who resisted his socialization programme were shot dead, in which five members of the politburo and 55 members of central committee lost lives. As ruthless dictator enforced collective farming, eliminated those who rebelled. He was responsible for 19,000,000 deaths in labour camps, concentration camps. 

So instead of sermonizing in a church, as his mother wished and planned, Stalin turned out ruthless dictator. Believe it or not existence of the Uncertainty principle.

Another example I take from History most of you may be aware of the same.

His parents fear that the boy is mentally retarded. He was late in speaking when comparing to normal child. He had negative attitude toward formal education, he was day dreaming. His teacher once said you are good for nothing. He failed to clear the High school diploma. He was model drop out boy. Naturally he failed to get admission in first attempt to a polytechnic. After getting admission he did not attend class, he borrowed his friends note and some how cleared the final exam. He worked two years in the Swiss patent office at Berne.

He was a free thinker. He had great interest about the nature and curiosity about the nature. That was Albert Einstein. Greatest of 20^th Century physicists credited with Special Relativity Theory, General Relativity Theory and Energy Mass Equation. He did everything on his own. A drop out,  known as most intelligent person of this era.Had he not migrated to United states he would not have become Einstein the world knows.

Why I quoted these two incidences from the history. I want you to pounder, think…..

Is life is predetermined?

Is man is Destiny maker?

Is it free will that operates?

Is lottery of fate decides?

Is self efforts alone works?

Or is everything attributed to theory of chance?

Genetics, hereditary pre determines matter at biological level. And Environmental effects do play major role on once life.

You plan for something, you aspire for something, you work for a plan but end result is product of Uncertainty principal. This has happened with you and also with many people.

Just remember life things can be with default also. There exist uncertainty factor and it has its own merits.
